I met the amazing Liz and Michael in London for a consult, they were getting married in London although liz spoke about her love to get married abroad but had decided on a London venue to ease. Fast forward a few months and Liz got back in touch to say they have decided to go for a destination wedding instead and if this this was something I would be interested in, Would I be their destination wedding photographer? Yes! Was the answer, I have been lucky enough to go toItaly a few times for weddings. Including Kevin and Ana and Kirsty and Troys weddings. So it was amazing to get asked to go back again. The romantic backdrops of Tuscany is a photographers dream as well as their romantic sunset light.
They decided on Borgo Lucignanello which is an amazing 5 historic houses sharing an infinity pool and mini village that is allowed to be used for the photos. Photographing this type of destination wedding is a dream! I arrived to carry out the getting ready shots where the couple were sharing a house, girls downstairs boys upstairs and no crossing paths! With the ceremony then up the road in the open courtyard as the sun is starting to go down. This had Liz’s dad walking her down the isle, personalised vows that made Michael and Liz cry buckets! as well as drinks reception on the balcony and back at the infinity pool.
Followed by the most amazing night time set up for dinner, speeches and getting down for some fun dancing!
