Being asked to cover the wedding of Nealofar and Michael was pure joy. Maria from Party Marrakech who I met a few years ago got in touch about their day. After a few proposals and a zoom call I got picked to cover their 3 day event. Which was pure pleasure being picked from so many great photographers that were put forward for the day.

Myself and my now Husband (only a few days married at this point!) flew out to Marrakech. I was covering the pre shoot and day before party myself and then it was both of us for the big day.

I met the couple at Riad Sakkan where we started out shoot in their amazing riad with so many stunning colours. Followed by head out to the street for more culture and then back to Palais Lamrani to end the shoot. Ready for the following day!

Photographing this pre wedding event really got me into the mood for the big day and allowed me to meet guests making the following day so much easier to interact with guests.

Day 2 and I headed off to Terre Des Etoiles which is a ecologe luxury camp in the Agafay Dessert. Here the couple got ready and had a mini shoot with me around the camp with the camels and by the pool before their welcomed their guests to start the pre wedding party. This consisted of camel rides, henna tattoos, moroccan dancing and music, belly dancers, fire performers and an epic dance floor!

Day 3 arrived! and both my husband and I turned up at the amazing Jnane Tamsna which is a luxury Boutique hotel in Palmeraie Marrakech. We started prep with the couple separately, myself with Nealofar and My husband with Michael. They then had a bit of a private first look and were ready for couple photos around the main entrance area while my husband photographed guest arrivals. I adored working with the key hole style architecture and getting creative. What helps about the 3 days is that couple shoots dont have to be intense as we have 3 days worth of content.

We then had an intimate ceremony performed by one of their friends as we then headed up to the rooftop for drinks. This started the with nibbles and stilt-walkers followed by the couple then getting carried down to dinner! Another fire performance and an amazing first dance ended the night! More performers then flooded the dance floor before my husband and I said of goodbyes. What an epic adventure!
