Sersha and Hamish married on Sersha family home and gardens. I had been planing with this couple for quite some time. As they were meant to marry in 2022 but the last bit of covid restrictions were still happening with group numbers so they planned for 2023. With a strong vision of local foliage form her family garden of monstera leaves and a pop of colour the design of this wedding was such a vision.

Planned by Kimberley Dunkley Watkins of Dragonfly Experiences who made the day run so smoothly. It is always great to have a wedding planner on site. Even when hiring a venue, having an external planner just means the day is much more managed. So it was great to have Kimberley to be able to chat over plans with.

Graham and I were working this wedding together. It was great to photograph side by side. During preparations he was with Hamish while I was with Sersha. We then came back together to photograph the ceremony form different angles and I left him with candid photography while I did groups and couple photos. As the ceremony was later so we had a lot less time with the light so we needed to make sure I was getting all of the content without being in two places at once. This is the benefit of photographing with your husband!

This then followed with traditional Jamaican food and the most lively dance floor. What an amazing day!
