I first met Steph and Paddy when they got in contact about doing a couple shoot for the in Richmond Park. When i met them they told me about how they have been doing distance due to the pandemic with Steph living in Denver and Paddy being based in the UK. It meant Paddy could not enter the US with restrictions and Steph did all the travelling for now. It was tough and skype and calls where the closest they could be when she had to head home.
I got on with them so well and they loved the images. So I was thrilled when Steph enquired on the feasibility of heading over to Colorado to cover their wedding day.
Of course I said Yes! So a wedding date was booked and we were all eagerly awaiting the opening of the US borders as covid restrictions were lifted. As this trip was a little further than most, My husband Graham and I took this trip as a little holiday. So it was great to see the Rocky Mountains in all of its glory as well as do things like axe throwing, horse riding over the rockies and even the jurassic world!
Take me back! I adore America and would love to capture an elopement in las Vegas through to a beach wedding in Miami.
