Son Marroig in Mallorca I one of my favourite locations which sits between Valldemossa and Deia. A former mansion of Archduke Luis Salvado has the most dramatic ocean view where the sunset is truly unique every day. It is one of the most iconic wedding venues on the west coast of Mallorca and as some as any photo of this place pops up online I know instantly where it is.

If you are considering getting married in Mallorca then Son Marroig really has to be at the top of your venue options to take a look at which is now listed as a UNESCO Heritage site. At the end of the cliff overlooking the ocean it has a stunning white temple with breathtaking views. Only needing a few touches, the venue speaks for itself. A few added flowers and chairs and the space is really ready to go. All it needs is a vision- either simple or elaborate.

With the buildings dating back to the 15th and 16th century, there is plenty to be in awe of here. With the Archduke being a keen explorer and nature lover he created the mediterranean garden and built the white marble pavilion where may couples say ‘I do’. In 1927 Son Marroig became open to the public. Where there is a museum which explains about Salvators life s well as stunning pieces of furniture.

Son Marroig can host but intimate and large wedding celebrations, with the max being 150 people. From options such as having your wedding ceremony under the marble pillars of the pavilion overlooking the water. To then having your dinner set up overlooking the balcony with ocean views and the view of the pavilion.

I headed to Son Marroig recently to photograph an amazing vow renewal which you can see more of here: Son Marroig wedding.

Not only is Son Marroig an exclusive venue, but where else can you get married with such breathtaking views? Take a little look at what you can achieve when booking this stunning venue.
