Amy and Jamie…. what a stunning wedding! I had Amy get in touch about photographing her wedding from a referral from her sister who was an ex student of mine in photography. She recommended me as I did destination weddings and then she booked. Fast forward to a covid postponement and we were finally all-headed to Croatia in July for their stunning day!
This was my first trip to Croatia and it did not disappoint. This was in the city of Split on the coast where they decided to have their ceremony just before sunset on the pier. It was a tight space! I was concerned about knocking into a guest and them falling in the water- or even myself if you get too carried away with focussing on the moment and not your footing!
Luckily everyone came out unscathed and dry. As the ceremony was running a little late we were battling the light with the couple photos to get the best spots and some quick family shots before they headed into dinner. They had some emotional charged speeches and the most epic first dance with sparkers. What a way to head into my main part of wedding season. From their Croatian wedding I then flew straight over to Rome for my next wedding. I would love to head back to Croatia for a wedding in Dubrovnik.
