Hedsor House is one of my favourite wedding venues. I end up covering quite a few weddings a year here and it is always an absolute joy! Whenever you drive down the long drive to be greeted at this time of the year with bluebells and then the cows in the fields before it opens up to the main house. With its lovely architecture, manicured gardens and the best spot for golden hour it really is a photographers dream!
This time it was the wedding of Jodie and Harry. My first Hedsor House wedding of the year and how lucky they were with a dry and sunny day with the most amazing golden hour. Only a few days before were we having quite rainy weather with the start of the year being quite wet! So you can imagine their joy with how they felt when the sun shone for them to say ‘I do’.
Photography was pretty important to these guys with their dog reggie involved and quite a list for group photos. But we managed to get it all done in time for dinner. With the travelling band putting on a performance post dinner where everyone was up dancing and really enjoying themselves!
We then got to enjoy the most rich golden hour before heading into first dance and partying the night away. Jodie also went for the honey pots as favours for the top table created on site at Hedsor house as well as having reggie on the cake and hand made details such as personal notes for the seating plan. Such a fab day.
If you are considering marrying at Hedsor house, do not forget to take me along!
