The Asylum Chapel has also been on my list of places I have wanted to shoot for a while. Gothic, moody and 100% a lighting challenge! It was something id always wanted to sink my teeth into. And after getting booked for this wedding I also took on a fashion client who wanted to use this location a week later… what are the odds!

Jill and James are a super fashionable couple and this came out in their choices of outfits and how sassy their bridal party was! Jill wore the most amazing lace dress which really suited the asylum with the ability to allow it to flow down the stage area among the candles.

After their ceremony which was conducted by a friend, the guests then took a London bus to the garden Museum while Jill and James took their vintage car. The evening was a fun filled affair with speeches, with Jill’s sister even doing a sketch in a wedding dress! Lots and lots of mini cakes and some very funky dancing!
