Top wedding venues to get married in Marrakech
As a Marrakech wedding photographer I have been lucky enough to see some amazing places, such as this stunning wedding of Nelofar and Michael. But what other venues can you consider to hold your Moroccan wedding at? Take a look at some of my favourites.
L’Oberoi Marrakech
Top of my list is probably this stunning venue. One of the most beautiful 5 star hotels in Morocco. With the option to have your ceremony around the pool or gardens as well as many hidden arches and doorways it really is a photographers dream. They also have the Atlas in the background making this a stunning sight to see. Guests can also stay on site with luxury bedrooms and villas with either a garden or swimming pool.
Selman Marrakech
With this stunning hotel only a 10 minute drive from the centre of Marrakech it allows you to be in the heart of the city. A stunning 5 star hotel with purebred Arabian horses. With stunning indoor and outdoor spaces as well as dedicated areas to hold your wedding ceremony. This venue is such a dream.
Luxury Desert Camp Agafay
Dont want to travel for a full day out to the Sahara Desert for your wedding? The consider the stunning Agafay Desert which is just a short trip from the centre of Marrakech, but still providing that open sace, feeling of isolation and stunning landscapes. These have luxury tents, running water and wifi! So you can still feel like a home away from home.
Beldi Country Club
A stunning moroccan paradise with gorgeous gardens , swimming pool and greenhouse. Often couples opt to have their ceremony in the unique glasshouse with stunning surroundings. Again, just a 10 minute drive from the city centre which has 14 hectares to play within. They also have a large ballroom for dinner as well as a charming riad.
Palais Namaskar
Oh my word. What a dream venue. Can you envision walking aisle a runway with water either side as you enter the ceremony? Yes? Then this is the venue choice for you. One of Marrakech’s best kept secrets of wedding venues! With 41 individually designed villas and suites it can host a large number of your guests depending how big your wedding party will be. With views of the hills of Djebilet it is the perfect setting to say ‘I do’.
Ksar Char-Bagh
Another stunning palace choice dating back to the 14th century. Also super close to the city centre if you wish to do a post wedding celebration or photoshoot. You can have friends and family also stay in the 25 suites so that people are close by for everything. With stunning gardens and palm trees as far as the eye can see.
