Hedsor House is one of my favourite wedding venues. One I look forward to going back to every single time. Not only is it a stunning venue, but the staff are some of the nicest and supportive you will ever meet to guide you through your day. With a dedicated Duty Manager on hand from start to finish. No wish is ever too big, it is no wonder it was voted as the Number 1 wedding venue in Buckinghamshire.

The light, interiors and people on a wedding day is a buzz that you cannot get anywhere else. I also like to class myself as a Hedsor House Wedding Photography expert! Having worked here on a number of occasions, I fell in love with the venue and its staff. No two weddings are the same at Hedsor House. From stunning outdoor ceremonies on the terrace, South lawn or maze garden. They can even let you arrive in style by helicopter! Or how about opting for cozy indoor setting in the Centre Hall with the gorgeous sky light and balcony overhead. The options are up to you.
Hedsor House is also great at having everything on site. From getting ready right through to the party. You do not have to move anywhere. Which is great as it means you are truly focussed on the day. And do not have to worry about any travel logistics. Just sit back and enjoy.

Knowing Hedsor House, and how the space works in all seasons is super key to how I can achieve the best photographs for you – By this I mean the photos that you will frame and give to loved ones.
I understand how the light streams through the bridal suite for the most stunning glow, while you get into your wedding dress. The best time for group and couple portraits at the front of the house is after 3pm. As we are less likely to get direct sun hitting guest faces and being unflattering. AND how the most magical golden hour happens on the south lawn. I know where to take you and the best times to do it. So you can fully enjoy your day and let me worry about all of the little bits.

As a Buckinghamshire wedding photographer I blend documentary with editorial for a style that is timeless.
What does this mean? It means that I look at your wedding through a fashion lens- with how I compose a photograph, edit and direct the parts that need directing. But I aim for an effortless, candid and documentary touch. Meaning that for 90% of the day I document without interference. I watch for little moments. The 10% that has direction such as groups and couple photos has a stylish lean. Your day at Hedsor, told your way.

Hedsor House FAQ
How do getting ready photos work at Hedsor House?
This is one of the best parts of Hedsor House. With everything on site. Including preparations. If you are needing to start earlier than the 10.30am access time to the main house, then you are able to get ready in the Hive on site and then move over. Both of you are able to get ready in the main house after 10.30am and I am easily able to go between you both in the timeline.
What areas can we hold our wedding ceremony?
Hedsor House has plenty of flexibility for the areas you can hold your ceremony. For a dry option there is the main central hall or even the smaller side rooms for intimate days. Outdoors you can have the terrace, south lawn, maze garden. All options are perfect for photography.
What are the wet weather options at Hedsor House in regards to wedding photos?
Like any wedding, it is always about being creative with indoor photos for groups and couple photos. BUT Hedsor has plenty of options the main sitting rooms, staircase and the stunning bridal suite and balcony. As long as family groups are organised we can do them in the larger spaces. As go off wandering for your couple photos to make use of the stately house setting.
Can we have confetti photos at Hedsor House?
Confetti is not permitted at Hedsor House. But don’t worry! You can do alternatives such as bubbles or ribbon wands that people can wave. Sometimes people have also done paper planes!
Are we able to do sparklers at Hedsor House?
Yes! Hedsor house allows sparklers. Just let the staff know. This is often with buckets of sand for safety and disposal of them. They often happen at the front of the house.
Is there anyone on site to help?
Hedsor House is the perfect wedding venue with a Duty manager on site for your day. Helping with the running of the day and liaising with all suppliers. They are some of the best teams I have worked with!
