I adore that my work allows me to travel as a destination wedding photographer. So when I was asked to cover a wedding in Qatar, I was thrilled! I recently travelled over to cover the engagement photoshoot, this involved us picking a beach just outside of the city near Al Khor for the warmest sunset. It was 35 degrees over there so super hot to photograph in! I then travelled over in November for the wedding day which was so lovely to see my couple again.
I experienced amazing food, sights and learning more about my bride and groom. My bride also wished to be able to be alone with her groom to be in a summer dress and have photographs of the two of them alone. so we needed to make sure we had a fully secluded spot, as only the groom and myself as a female were able to see her uncovered in her summer dress. A real first for me to experience this and a real honour to photograph their love.
While I was there, I also carried out a fashion photoshoot, which got published in Shuba Magazine. You can see the final shots on my fashion website: Qatar Fashion Shoot
DISCLAIMER: As you might have guessed, there is something a little different to the below images! Photographing in Qatar was very different for me as it also involved myself learning new things about culture, religion and privacy and respect. My Bride’s identity and image is protected here so I cannot show her, but I adore the images so much with the sunset, we allowed them to go online but to pixelate her figure. So I am so glad I was able to share them still.
