Luxury Outdoor Syon Park Conservatory Wedding

Syon Park has always been one of my favourite wedding venues- with its stunning glass house and gorgeous main house with chequered floor. Camilla and Aaron longed for an outdoor ceremony- and with stop start rain all day it was quite touch and go! But the ceremony set up was pushed back to the last second and they managed to have a glorious outdoor ceremony in the golden hour light as the sun was starting to set!

Syon Park Preparations

Preparations were underway! With Camilla and Aaron getting ready in separate locations. And the lovely Lucy from Lucy Meehan Events was on hand to make sure the ceremony was outside. The couple really, REALLY wanted an outdoor wedding in front of the glasshouse. And the day was unfolding quite unpredictable- with the forecast not matching the actual weather and often quick downpours or rain and sunshine happening simultaneously. After checking in with the couple that they wanted to hold off as long as possible to set up- it was a case of watching and waiting. With the chairs covered if rain happened and then the skies opened to blue sky. So it was all hands on deck to get the ceremony set up in time for guest arrivals.

Once the gusts had arrived, it was time for Camilla to make her entrance down the gorgeous white carpet to the glasshouse. With a clear sky overhead- they had their dream outdoor wedding. With personal vows, a candle lighting and confetti back up the aisle it was the perfect set up. With the gorgeous warm light of the sun going down- the glasshouse was lit up in a creamy tone.

Next, it was time to fight the light and get some couple photos outside of the glasshouse and allow the couple some time to mingle with guests. As the ceremony was pushed back due to weather, and the hire time for the glasshouse still has a cut off we needed to make sure everything still fitted into the schedule for speeches, cake cutting and dinner etc. So the drinks reception still needed to fit into the normal timeline. So these photos needed to still be creative but an effective use of time.

Next, it was time for the couples entrance, cake cutting, speeches and dancing. With the glasshouse always providing such a gorgeous backdrop ant atmospheric look once the sun goes down.
