Luxury Hedsor House Wedding Photography with Champagne Tower
Hannah and Jack married at the gorgeous Hedsor House. Filled with outdoor ceremony, champagne tower and THE most gorgeous peal cape!
Getting ready at Hedsor House
Getting ready at Hedsor House is always a dream ,with the most stunning bridal suit, as well as newly decorated bedrooms. With so many to pick from. Hannah had the most stunning pearl cape which we managed some quick bridal portrait photos of her before the most sweet moment with a first look with her father just before the ceremony. With the newly decorated bridal suite this is more chic, neutral and really compliments when the light comes through the windows. One of the main selling points I always hear couples talking about is the bridal suite. As i is not just one room, but three main areas joined together. meaning you can get ready in one area and dressed in a separate space. Clean, tidy and perfect for photos.
Outdoor Ceremony at Hedsor House
An outdoor ceremony is really one of the best things that can happen at Hedsor- I adore the lighting there, the backdrop and the ability to have all of the space to capture the day. Often these happen on the terrace, south Lawn or what I would love, is one at the front of the house! It also means that once guests are seated, there is more of a controlled space to walk down the staircase, get that famous bridal staircase photo and then walk around the front of the house for the main entrance. it means it is not rushed and you can soak in all of the experience. For an outdoor ceremony at Hedsor House it also means I clean, natural light- making images soft and flattering. I also have the luxury of being able to walk freely around the space. meaning there are more angles and less restrictions. After the ceremony the couples dog was also brought out at the front of the house as a surprise which Hannah was so emotional about! Hannah thought we were doing a large group photo which she did not request so looked quite puzzled- so I had to fake this and set it up- and to her delight he was brought around to greet her and have some couple photos before being taken away by a doggy chaperone.
Couple portraits at Hedsor House
After some lovely group photos at the front of Hedsor House, it was then time for drinks reception on the terrace and the south lawn. While that started, we used the first quarter of the time to do some couple photos. With the front of the house a stunning backdrop to fit in with the elegant theme that Hannah and Jack had gone for! Hannah had the most amazing pearl cape. So while it was heavy, it was something she was in love with and so was I! So we made sure to get some of these centre stage in the main areas. Once done, they headed back into drinks reception to mingle with everyone. This is the part of the day couples love the most- to relax with everyone. Which is why it is important to make sure that you allow at least 1.5 hours for drinks reception. As after groups and some couple photos you want enough time to decompress. This also means as a photographer I have enough time to do candid and documentary photos of the guests and couple interacting. Documenting all of the little moments you mgiht miss. If your schedule is too close together then some of these moments and also opportunities for you to enjoy it can be missed.
Champagne tower at Hedsor House
Once call to dinner happened, everyone enjoyed a 3 course meal in the ballroom. Next, it was time for speeches, champagne tower and dancing! But not before we did some amazing photos outside of Hedsor House- with Hannah even posing in the grass! I love it when couples are happy to have fun and get creative! The champagne tower also signalled a start to the party- which is a great ideas as often there can be a lull after dinner. So it is a great way to ramp up the energy and get people in the mood. This was especially great as they has a saxophone player leading everyone into the dance floor. What a wedding!
