Euridge Manor has to be one of my favourite wedding venues outside of London. As I have a soft spot for Italy, it really does have that destination feel. With so many areas to photograph it is a photographers paradise. With some of my favourite spots being the boathouse and chandelier- probably like many photographers I am guessing! It was amazing to work with Pink Palms wedding planning to make this dream wedding come true. We were lucky with a dry day and ideally were going to have an outdoor dinner but it did have a few showers come end of drinks reception. So it was the right move to bring the dinner inside.
Getting ready at Euridge Manor
With the roads being quite tight country roads, I would advise any couples marrying at Euridge to look at utilising the spaces on site to get ready. Meaning everything is much easier, especially if running late. As you dont want to be navigating single track roads with other weddings guests, vendors etc having to go back and run late with the wedding. Who wants that stress?! There are so many spaces to get ready at Euridge it really means that everything can flow that much better staying on site.
Euridge Manor Wedding Ceremony
There was a stunning set up overlooking the boathouse for the wedding ceremony. Vicky and John had their dogs walk through the ceremony and be part of the wedding which was lovely. As wel las personal vows and then wanted to make use of all the locations- so then walked down to the boathouse to sign the marriage certificate.
Cocktail hour at Euridge Manor
It was then time to have drinks reception. Kicking off with a champagne tower which is always my favourite to capture. Where we also then did some family photos and as the forecast was showing a few showers we decided to do the boat before dinner instead of after. As it was not going to golden hour which is what we were originally planned for but realised that was not going to happen. So like any wedding it is best to monitor the weather and adapt as needed- which is the key to delivering good photos to couples.
Wedding reception in Euridge Manor ballroom
It was then time for speeches and dinner in the ballroom. This space is really amazing as it actually has a swimming pool underneath which gets coverd for dinner and a bar set up for dancing. Once dinner was over it was time for guests to head upto the orangery for cocktails and mingiling while the dinner room got turned around for dancing.
Evening reception in the Eurige ballroom
We popped out quickly for a few couple photos as Vicky changed her dress ready for dancing. And then joined the guests for mingling. Once we got the nod form Pink Palms that the dance floor was all cleared it was time to cut the cake and head down to the party. Finished off with a night time champagne spray! If you are considering getting married at Euridge Manor I would say- go for it!
