It is always lovely to head to Kew Gardens. As a recommended supplier with Kew Gardens I know just how lovely a team. they have there and how well run the events side is. So it was lovely to head back for Lavinia and Harrys wedding. Lavinia got ready at the Coach and Horses to be nice and close to the ceremony so it was great to be able to walk across to the ceremony and be in time for everything.

Nash Conservatory Ceremony

The Nash conservatory is always stunning. Allowing so much light in and making the whole ceremony magical. It was quite a hot day for Lavinia and Harrys wedding so certain angles the light was quite strong- but once backlit it was so magical. Florals were by Palette Events with a stunning white and green colour palette. Once the ceremony was complete it was time for bubbles as the exited from the Nash conservatory. While guests were taken off to drinks reception on the banks Lawn we did group photos quickly so the rest of the family could then enjoy the time together.

Couple photos at Kew Gardens

Kew is always a stunning location for couple photos. The area though is so vast you get a buggy form kew to take you around to the spots you want to cover. The Temperate house was at the top of Lavinia and Harrys list so we headed there first. The glasshouses have an amazing spiral staircase and the views across are stunning. We then quickly headed for a few at the rose garden and lake before taking them back to enjoy the rest of drinks reception. It is really important to make sure drinks reception is a good balance of the couple photos but also time to enjoy the food and drink and time with guests.

Drinks reception on the banks lawn

Making sure Lavinia and Harry had time to be with their guests were key to the structure of their day. They had put on a water colour illustrator for their guests, oyster station and ham station. Making sure their guests were really treated to a good time before heading into the wedding breakfast.

Orangery wedding breakfast

Once it was time for the call to dinner, guests made their way over to the Orangery which was set to perfection. I loved the little touches of the oyster shell with pearls for the table setting names.

Kew Gardens wedding party

These guys knew how to party! it was great having everyone fully involved in the party and such a great atmosphere. The lighting in Kew is always great with lots of colour as well as Lavinia doing a surprise Saxophone performance with the band. Perfect!
