Euridge Manor Prakriti Kakar Proposal

It was a pleasure to be asked by Nalini from Knots and Nuptials to capture this surprise proposal. With the weather sort of on our side- we got lucky that a rain shower passed over just before their arrival. But higher winds meant moving the originally outdoor dinner plan, indoors instead. But this was for the better meaning none of the flowers were falling over or the guests were not getting cold!

Capturing a proposal or even a wedding at Euridge manor is always stunning. BUT it is a challenge! With three levels from the top of the boathouse, the staircase and the lower level it means quite a bit of quick thinking and leg work to make sure the best angles are covered. Unlike. wedding which has a bit more time- often a proposal is over fairly quickly. So I was super pleased with the results!

This was the proposal of Prakriti Kakar, Known in India as a singer and performer, with her sister who is also part of her act also in attendance when the family arrived to congratulate them and have a private dinner.

Next, it was time for couple photos around Euridge. It was a short session as the family were waiting to have dinner, so we focussed on the boathouse, the boat and the tree row by the chandelier before heading back upto their family.

Next, it was time to head into the orangery for a Champagne tower and a private dinner for the family. We did one or two photos of the set up and service before leaving everyone to enjoy their meal. Euridge manor or one of my favourite wedding venues, it has everything you need as a wedding photographer. I cannot wait to head back here in June.
