Editorial and Creative Wedding Photography

When Emma got in touch with me, it was a complete pleasure to be asked to capture her day. Having know Emma for quite a few years now as a dancer and model, I then met Kieran around 5 years ago. Having been together since school, it was no surprise these two were set to be married. So to have the honour of capturing their day was amazing- knowing they both photograph so well was always a bonus! But the pure connection they have together was perfect. Emma wanted the day to be captured in a very editorial way, with creative settings, a love of movement and black and white. She also had several skirt changes and looks which added to the creativity!

Getting ready with Bridesmaids

Kieran had a private morning. While I captured Emma getting ready with her bridesmaids. The morning started later than planned! With Emma stuck at the venue as she was doing all of the florals and decor with the girls. So it left a short amount of time to eget everything done before heading to the venue! But she nailed it.

Intimate ceremony, filled with emotion

Next, was the ceremony. Filled with emotion and performed by a family friend. Emma’s sister died a few tears ago, so wanting her to be present she had a reading done in her name- which was filled with emotion. Next were their private vows, another reading and time to exchange rings. With a first kiss and amazing walk back up the aisle! They then exited to so much fun and laughter to a confetti aisle.

Editorial couple portraits and rinks reception

We headed back into the venue to do the couple portraits, as well as a private first dance. As Emma is a dancer, she wanted Kieran to learn their first dance. But as dancing is only allowed in the crypt downstairs, she wanted some photos from the balcony. So they had the chairs cleared and a private first dance done so they could practice. We then did some couple photos before they entered into drinks reception for the rest of the afternoon before dinner.

Dancing in the crypt

Next ti was time for dinner, dancing adn blue hour photos! What a party! Emma also changed into an evening skirt and set up painting easels for guests to personalise.
