Ashridge house wedding filled with heartfelt moments
Ashridge House is a fabulous venue, with such unique architecture. The grand central staircase with its stunning ceiling really takes my breath away each time I visit. And it was stunning to be back again for such a gorgeous wedding day.
With a church ceremony at the local Ashridge church, it was then time to head back to Ashridge House for he drinks reception and dinner.
We lucked out with a dry day until dancing, with only a few showers. So it meant drinks reception could also filter out onto the terrace.
But heading back into the staircase is really the wow factor. These are the must have couple phots that really are the hero images and something my couples always frame. Even something as simple as walking up the staircase together gives a natural but timeless image.
Once dinner was done, it was time for an outfit change. With guests gathered in the hall ready to watch the cake cut. I wanted to capture this from above as well as level to really get the grandeur of the space. And then.. it was time to party the night away!
