Ardington House Autumn Wedding Photography
Ardington house looks stunning in the autumn sunlight, with the light beaming over the little lake and ceremony area. Lucy and Nathaniel were so lucky with the weather that day which allowed them the chance to fulfil their dream wedding plans of having their outdoor ceremony and drinks reception.
Getting Ready at Ardington House
What is great with Ardington is that you are able to get ready all on site, with plenty of rooms and options for gorgeous window light. I loved taking Lucy into the green room instead of the cream room where makeup is done to allow for some gorgeous green tones for getting in the dress. Here her mum did up her dress and a bridesmaid doing her shoes before some quick bridal portraits before the ceremony.
Wedding ceremony in the ground of Ardington House
Next, it was time to head into the ground of Ardington house where the ceremony was all set up with Autumn florals ready for Lucy to walk in with her Father. With readings form family and some lovely vows before then heading into drinks reception.
Drinks reception in the Autumn sun of Ardington House.
The sun was shining fully on a gorgeous, relaxed drinks reception in the grounds of Ardington House. On the call they wanted to make sure to maximise all of their time with guests, with only a short time for groups and couple photos so that they were away for only a short amount of time.
Couple photos at Ardington House
Just before call to dinner, we took Lucy and Nathaniel off for some couple photos. Meaning we could also eat into the time it takes guests to take their seats. So it is less time away from mingling. Here we went into the house as well as the grounds to be able to also get the last rays of golden hour.
Evening Reception in the marquee
Once it was time or guests to take their seats, it was then Lucy and Nathaniels entrance. Followed by some heartfelt speeches, cake cutting and dancing! I adore Ardington House and cannot wait to head back this year.
